Analyst: iPod Sales Slowdown?

Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster anticipates a slower third quarter from Apple in a recent report.

"While it is way too early to make a call on June quarter iPod results, we have analyzed the first month of NPD data (April) for the quarter and found that it suggests iPod units of around 8 million."

In the grander scheme of things, I can't imagine selling 8 million of everything every month! Perhaps things are slowing down because an update is on the way? We'll have to wait and see.
